Vidya Global School Organises Intra-School Swimming Competition

Vidya Global School, Meerut, organised an Intra-School Swimming Competition on October 3, 2022. Students from classes 3 to 10 actively participated in the event and displayed their swimming skills. They were chosen for the trials based on their performance, and they were divided into age groups according to that performance.

Both boys and girls dsiplayed excellent swimming abilities and many made it to the finals. Each student enjoyed themselves immensely and learned a great deal from the other competitors, since they not only took part but also saw other young swimmers compete with calibre and proficiency. Staff and management congratulated the students for their sportsmanship and dedication.

In honour of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri and Mahatma Gandhi's birthdays, Vidya Global School in Meerut recently held a cleanliness drive as part of the "Swach Bharat Abhiyan Programme." This program's primary goal was to raise students' knowledge of the importance of cleanliness and its advantages. Students and staff organised an enthusiastic rally and marched around the campus with hand-held banners and catchy slogans to draw attention to the problem and emphasise the value of cleanliness. The ceremony was made more beautiful and meaningful by the primary wing students' recitation of poems.
