About Venkateshwar International School, Dwarka

Venkateshwar International School (VIS), Dwarka was established in 2001 by the Sri Venkateshwar Education Society (Rregd.). It is a co-educational, English medium school, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). “Venkateshwar International School works to provide all of its students with a supportive environment, which is excellent for developing young minds. It aims to produce academically gifted pupils who have the strong self-control, steadfast will, and desire for success required to deal with the challenges of modern society,” says the school's website. The school is currently being led by Manisha Sharma.

Venkateshwar International School, students Harivansh Mehta, Prisha Basak, and Janis Dahiya recently participated in the Young Entrepreneurs' Bootcamp organised by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani. 50 students were chosen for this bootcamp from all around India and overseas. These students attended lectures given by notable figures like Rashmi Bansal, Author of ‘Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish’, Sonam Wangchuk, Chancellor of BITS, Kumar Mangalam Birla, and Sanskriti Dawle, Founder and CEO, Thinkerbell Labs. Students also saw the campus's incubators and entrepreneurial ecosystem, which has produced unicorn startups like Swiggy, BigBasket, and RedBus.
