Tamilnadu 12th Result 2018 – The result of Tamilnadu 12th will be announced by Directorate of Government Examination (DGE), Tamil Nadu in the second or third week of May, 2018. To check Tamilnadu 12th result online, candidates have to key in their login credentials – registration number and date of birth. Candidates can download their provisional marksheet. The original marksheet will be issued to candidates by the board and they are required to collect it from their respective colleges or schools. The provisional marksheet is valid for 90 days. Tamilnadu 12th Result 2018 – Award of certificate
Candidates securing 70 marks each in all the three subjects out of 200 are eligible for award of Higher Secondary Certificates. The marking scheme prescribed by the board is explained below.

Tamilnadu 12th Result 2018 – Provisional Certificate
The board will issue temporary marksheet to students appearing TN 12th exam. The system of issuing provisional certificates was issued by DGE, Tamil Nadu from 2015. The certificate will be valid for 90 days. Candidates can check the accuracy of the marks. In case of any discrepancy, it can be rectified in the original marksheet.
Tamilnadu 12th Result 2018 – Scan copy of Answer Sheets
The scan copies of answer scripts are issued to candidates for all subjects. Candidates have to apply through school or exam centres for seeking the answer scripts. Students have to pay Rs 275 per scripts in cash to the school or exam centre. The acknowledgement slip will be given to candidates once they register. Candidates have to enter register number and date of birth to download the scan copy of the answer script.
Tamilnadu 12th Result 2018 – Re-Evaluation
Students can opt for re-evaluation for all subjects. The scripts will be re-valued by subject experts. Marks obtained in re-evaluation is final. Only those candidates to apply for scan copy of answer scripts can opt for revaluation. While downloading the answer scripts candidates can apply for re-valuation and submit it to the concerned Chief Educational Officer along with requisite fee in cash. The fee of each subject is Rs 505. The request will be processed within 10 to 15 days.
Tamilnadu 12th Result 2018 – Re-Totalling
Candidates can apply for re-totalling in all subjects after the publication of Tamilnadu 12th result. The marks secured by the candidate will be added once again. Any question left unvalued will be checked and marks will be awarded to candidates. Candidates have to pay Rs 205 for each subject while it is Rs 305 for subjects comprising two papers.
