Sherwood Convent School, recently hosted Hubs of Learning meet on 'Behavioural Changes Among Students'. Representatives from the member schools— Delhi Public School, Sushant Lok, The Paras World School, The Navyandhra School, Jhankar School, and Vega School were present at the meeting. The members were welcomed by principal Kanchan Malik, who briefed them on the goals of the CBSE board in establishing ‘Hubs of Learning’. All educators discussed the difficulties and issues that children had encountered since COVID. Members also talked about further steps that could be taken to assist the students.

Sherwood Convent School, Gurugram was established in 1993 by Manohar Lal Malik. It is managed by New Ekta Educational Society (NEES) and affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). “Sherwood Convent offers programmes in three different categories—Early Learning, Middle Years, and Senior Years. Programs such as e-learning, co-curricular activities, well-being, and leadership programmes have also been designed to guarantee that each student's strengths are fully cultivated and developed,” says the school’s website.

Sherwood Convent School, Gurugram, recently held a house-based ‘No flame cooking competition’ for classes 4 and 5 (inter-class) and 6-10 (inter-house). The goal of the competition was to raise awareness of the nutritional benefits of food prepared without a flame. Students presented the food in an engaging, artistic, and aesthetically pleasing style, and the presentation was a visual feast that whet the appetite. Vegetable sandwiches, chocolate pudding, the Train of Taste with biscuits, sprouted canapés, granola bars, and many other dishes were produced by the students.
