Sherwood Convent School, Gurugram, Celebrates Hindi Diwas

Sherwood Convent School, Gurugram, recently celebrated Hindi Diwas for the students of junior wing. The students tested their Hindi language skills during the Hindi Diwas celebration. They delivered a beautiful speech and 'Kavita' with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm. Sherwood Convent students were also encouraged to admire and respect Hindi, which is the native tongue.

Sherwood Convent School, Gurugram was established in 1993 by Manohar Lal Malik. It is managed by New Ekta Educational Society (NEES) and affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). There are three categories of programmes offered at Sherwood Convent—Early Learning, Middle Years, and Senior Years. In order to ensure that each student's strengths are completely nurtured and developed, programmes including e-learning, co-curricular activities, well-being, and leadership programmes have also been established.

In an endeavour to guide and educate students, Sherwood Convent School in Gurugram recently organised a career counselling workshop in partnership with Mahindra University for the class 12 students. A faculty member from Mahindra University gave the students information on career options and guidance on various academic disciplines. He advised the students to work hard in school and explore their interests in order to succeed.
