Scottish High International School Celebrates Spain National Day

Scottish High International School, MFL department recently observed Fiesta Nacional de Espaa, or the Spanish National Day. Small Spanish flags were worn by all of the Spanish language learners to show their enthusiasm for assimilating into and embracing the new culture. Along with crafting bookmarks and cards, the primary wing students created posters depicting flamenco dancers' costumes and conveyed fascinating facts through the use of the target language. Students from classes 6 to 8 created bookmarks and posters on renowned foods, monuments, the national parade, and Spanish culture. Students in classes 11 and 12 prepared and presented a variety of Spanish activities in class.

Scottish High International School recently organised Diwali Mela. Teachers, students, and staff from Scottish High joined forces to put on a spectacular and thrilling mega-event. After a two-year wait, diwali celebration at school arrived with multicoloured stalls, decorations, lights, music, games, fortunate draws, joyrides, and mouthwatering food stalls, as well as crowds of parents, students, and their friends.
