A student enrolled in any school recognised by the Government of Odisha, or a school that has received a 'No Objection Certificate (NOC)' from the Government of Odisha, who has successfully passed Class 8 and is currently studying in Class 9, is eligible to appear for the NRTS examination. However, students from schools that do not follow the syllabus prescribed by the BSE Odisha, are not eligible for the NRTS scholarship. The Principal or Head of the Institution is responsible for logging in and registering eligible candidates using their school code and password. To register candidates for the NRTS examination, the Head of the Institution must:
The registration fee for each candidate appearing for the NRTS examination 2025 is INR 100/-.
The NRTS application fee payment must be made online. Once paid, the fee is non-refundable.
The NRTS 2025 exam will consist of a composite paper divided into four sections, one for each subject. Each section will carry 25 marks, bringing the total to 100 marks.
The questions will be multiple-choice, and candidates will need to mark their answers on an OMR sheet by selecting the correct option from four possible answers.
