A student enrolled in any school recognised by the Government of Odisha, or a school that has received a 'No Objection Certificate (NOC)' from the Government of Odisha, who has successfully passed Class 8 and is currently studying in Class 9, is eligible to appear for the NRTS examination. However, students from schools that do not follow the syllabus prescribed by the BSE Odisha are not eligible for the NRTS scholarship. The Principal or Head of the Institution is responsible for logging in and registering eligible candidates using their school code and password. To register candidates for the NRTS examination, the Head of the Institution must:

Update the school profile, including address, phone number, and email ID, and upload the head of the institution's full signature.
Register eligible students one by one for the NRTS exam.
Verify the registration details under the ‘Registered Candidates List’ and modify any errors before proceeding.
Make the payment through the online portal.
Once payment is confirmed, download the Descriptive Roll (DR) Sheet of the registered candidates.
