NRTS Exam 2024 - Application, Eligibility Criteria, How to Apply, Last Date, Result

Candidates must be students from any recognised school by Govt. of Odisha. They must have received the NOC from Govt. of Odisha having passed Class-8 and continuing in Class-9 are eligible to appear for the NRTS Examination 2024. Students who do not follow the syllabus of the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha are not eligible for this scholarship. Also, only SEBC category students have to produce an income certificate where their annual income does not exceed Rs.1.5 lakh.

Students who are eligible for the National Rural Talent Scholarship Exam 2024 can apply online through the board's official website at bseodisha.ac.in. They need to connect with their school. The NRTS application form 2024 was released on September 5. Candidates could register for the NRTS exam till September 20, 2024.

Students can apply for the NRTS exam 2024 offline through their respective schools. Also, the NRTS application form 2024 will be submitted only through the school headmaster. Students must submit the required documents along with a registration fee of Rs 60.

NRTS Exam Pattern 2024

Candidates applying for the NRTS exam 2024 must be aware of the exam pattern and syllabus. The NRTS 2024 will have four sections each having 25 questions. The NRTS have subjects like General Science, MIL (Modern Indian Language), Mathematics, and Social Science. Students can check the NRTS 2024 exam pattern in the table below. 

NRTS 2024 Exam Pattern

• Students must complete the syllabus at least 1 month before the commencement of the examination. 

• Candidates must try to solve the previous year's question papers to manage their time. The NRTS examination 2024 contains two papers each of duration 1 hour 30 minutes.

• The paper will be mostly based on the class 8 syllabus, try to cover as much as possible.

The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha released the NRTS admit card 2024 on October 15, 2024, in online mode. The NRTS 2024 admit card download link is available at bseodisha.ac.in. The NRTS hall ticket 2024 can be downloaded by entering the school code, password and any other required credentials in the login window. 

Steps to download NRTS admit card 2024:

• Visit the official website at bseodisha.ac.in.
• Click on the "NRTS Admit Card 2024" link.
• Enter the school code and password.
• Once logged in, the NRTS admit card will be displayed on the screen.
• Download the admit card of NRTS 2024 exam and take the printout of it.  

The BSE Odisha will tentatively declare the NRTS exam result 2024 in the second or third week of November 2024. The board will hand over the NRTS 2024 merit list to the concerned District Education Officers who will prepare the list of selected students. The NRTS merit list of selected candidates is prepared after the document verification. Once the documents are verified, the district education officer will issue the award memo to the selected students.

Disbursement Of Award Money:

The scholarship money will be deposited into the bank accounts of the students. After the publication of the result and the issue of the memo, the awardees will be informed about the opening of joint bank accounts. They will also be asked to provide the necessary details to the education officer to transfer the funds to their bank accounts.
