    Tuition Fees, Exam Fees & other fees which are mandatory or compulsorily payable by the student to the institution are covered under the scheme.

    Maintenance Allowance for students studying in professional courses

    Students should be admitted to professional Courses.


    Students should be the scholarship holders of the Government of India


    The limit of income will be applicable as per the Government of India scholarship scheme, i.e. annual income limit less than or equal to 2.5 lac


    Students who are studying in the professional curriculum and residing in a Hostel (Government, or the Institute's hostel or outside).

    Hosteller

    i) Course duration between 4 to 5 years: 700/- Rs per month (Rs 7000 PA)

    ii) Course duration between 2 to 3 years: 500/- Rs per month (Rs 5000 PA)

    iii) Course duration below 2 years: 500/- Rs per month (Rs 5000 PA)


    Day scholars

    i) Course duration between 4 to 5 years: 1000/- Rs per month (Rs 10000 PA)

    ii) Course duration between 2 to 3 years: 700/- Rs per month (Rs 7000 PA)

    iii) Course duration below 2 years: 500/- Rs per month (Rs 5000 PA)

    Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship

    The student must secure 75% or more than 75% marks in class 10th.

    Students must be studying in the 11th or 12th.

    The student shall belong to SC

    Rs. 300 per month for 10 months for two years. i.e. in the 11th and 12th Std.

    Post-Matric Scholarship for persons with disability

    Students should be disabled. (40% or above)

    The student should be studying in a recognized University or a recognised institute.

    Vocational Training Fee reimbursement for students belonging to the SC category students

    Admission is taken through the PPP scheme in Government Skill Development Institutes or Private Institutes and is admitted through the central Online Admission Process.

    No scholarship for Management Quota Admission

    Students should belong to the Scheduled Caste Category (SC Category) and should provide a caste certificate.

    The overall Family Income Limit should be Rs. 8.00 lacs

    Orphan candidate requires a Recommendation Letter.

    Candidate should not have taken any benefit for a course previously from the Government or a Private ITI.

    Candidate should not have taken any benefit from a training program sponsored by the State / Central Government / Department / Local Body / Company or Corporation.

    Domicile of Maharashtra.

    Admission taken for DGT, New Delhi or MSCVT approved courses.

    Attendance criteria is mandatory.

    Candidates need to attend each semester /annual exam. If any medical emergency then after recommendation by the institute Regional Joint Director should certify or recommend.

    Non Satisfactory educational progress due to misconduct- Failure in academic year, not fulfilling attendance criteria if found then the candidate will not be eligible for the scholarship.

    SSC Pass and Family income Less than or equal to 2,50,000, then as per the GOI scholarship.

    SSC Pass and Family income above 2,50,000 to Less than or up to 8,00,000 Lakh then 100 % reimbursement of Course Fee.

    SSC Fail and Family income up to 8,00,000 Lakh then 100 % reimbursement of Course Fee.

    Scholarship Scheme for State Minority Communities Pursuing Higher Professional Education/All Post H.S.C Courses

    Students should have passed SSC from Maharashtra.

    The student should be a”Bonafide Student of the Institute” and admitted for Professional and Technical courses (Diploma / Graduation / Post Graduation Degree)

    For Technical Course - Maximum Rs 25,000/- Per Annum or Actual Tuition Fees whichever is less.

    Steps to Apply for the MahaDBT Scholarship 2026-27

    While applying for the MahaDBT Scholarship 2026-27, students must follow the simple steps given below:

    • Go to the official website: mahadbt2.maharashtra.gov.in. Select the preferred language (Marathi or English) using the toggle at the top-right.

    • For the first-time user, click on 'Register' and complete registration on MahaSarathi to get your Maha ID. Existing users can click on Login > Citizen Login, select the login method (Maha ID, Aadhaar, or without Maha ID), and enter the OTP sent to their registered mobile. All the registered information will be displayed.

    • In case applicants do not have an Aadhar card, then they will have to fill in all the details manually.

    • After that, students must create a username and password for the Mahadbt scholarship 2026-27.

    • Enter the mobile number and password, and verify it. Next, go to the Mahadbt login and enter credentials. Fill in the captcha shown on the screen and submit.

    • After logging in, click the Apply for Scheme tab on the dashboard. Use the search bar or Department / Scheme Type filters to locate the scheme you wish to apply for. Click the 'Description' icon to view eligibility criteria, or download GRs for the official Government Resolution.

    • Click on 'Apply' next to the scheme. The portal will automatically verify the eligibility. If eligible, select the 'Academic Year' from the dropdown and click 'Proceed to Apply'.

    • Complete all sections of the form. Fields marked * (asterisk) are mandatory. The Smart Auto-fill feature will pre-populate details from linked government databases — review them for accuracy and correct if needed.

    • Attach all required certificates and supporting files. Each file must be in PDF, JPG, or JPEG format and must not exceed 5 MB. Ensure scanned copies are clearly legible; blurry or cut-off documents will be rejected.

    • Click 'Save as Draft' to save progress and continue later. Then, 'Click Preview Application' to review before submitting. When ready, click 'Submit Application'. An 'Application Reference Number (ARN)' will be generated. Note it down for future reference.

    Students who are selected to redeem the MahaDBT scholarship 2026-27 can do it by following the simple steps provided below to make it easier for the students.

    • If you get selected for the MahaDBT scholarship, then you will receive a link to redeem the scholarship via SMS or email.

    • Click on the link, and then log in using your credentials.

    • Go to “my applied schemes”, and check the redeem status option.

    • Now, click on the redeem button and collect the scholarship.

    How to Renew MahaDBT Scholarship 2025-26
