Delhi Public School (DPS), Patiala, Students Visit Help Age Home

Delhi Public School (DPS), Patiala, students of class 9 recently visited Help Age Home, Village Rongla. Students and teachers at the Help age home were moved by the seniors' warm smiles as they greeted the DPS group. Students sat with the elderly and engaged them in civilised conversation as they inquired about their health and general well-being. There were 25 senior residents residing there in all, and 15 support staff members took care of them. Students and the school's music teacher created a pleasant ambiance by performing upbeat songs to lift the spirits of the local seniors.

Delhi Public School (DPS), Patiala, aspiring chefs of the Cookery Club visited NFCI Patiala. Students gained a good understanding of how carefully crafted culinary arts programmes assisted hospitality aspirants in developing the technical and operational abilities necessary for success in the culinary sector of the industry.

Help Age Home visit was an admirable initiative on the auspicious occasion of Diwali to instil the concept of showing compassion and generosity to those who are less fortunate as a small act of gratitude for the richness they have been given.
