Maharashtra HSC Rechecking/Revaluation 2026 Important Dates

Students who are not satisfied with their Maharashtra Class 12 result 2026 can apply for paper rechecking or revaluation after the result declaration. The application window has been activated from May 3 to 17, 2026, followed by the release of revised results in June 2026. What is Maharashtra HSC Rechecking and Revaluation 2026?

Before applying, students should understand the difference between the result rechecking and revaluation. Students should also note that they can choose either or both options based on their requirements.

• Maharashtra HSC Rechecking (Verification) of results includes checking for totalling errors, unmarked answers, or any discrepancies in the marks calculation.

• Whereas Maharashtra HSC result revaluation involves a complete re-assessment of the answer sheet by an examiner.

Re-evaluation of Answer Sheets

1. Students must first obtain a photocopy of their answer sheet. After receiving it, they must apply for re-evaluation within five working days by paying a fee of Rs 300 per subject online and submitting the application to the respective divisional board.
2. For students from the Science stream appearing for various competitive and entrance exams (such as JEE, NEET, etc.), instructions have been issued to all divisional boards to prioritise and expedite the processes of mark verification, photocopies, and re-evaluation. Students must upload a copy of their entrance exam admit card along with the subject teacher’s remarks.
3. Re-evaluation will also be provided for Information Technology (IT) and General Knowledge (G.K.) subjects conducted online. Students must apply and pay the required fees online using the same process.

Steps to Apply for Maharashtra HSC Result Verification 2026

Students can follow the steps provided below to apply for the Class 12 Maharashtra Board result verification:

• Open the website at verification.mh-hsc.ac.in.

• Click on the link of ‘Verification of marks'.

• Enter the candidate’s seat number and mother’s name.

• Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

• Fill in the Maha HSC result verification form with all the required details and attach the necessary documents.

• Review the filled-in form and pay the Maharashtra HSC verification application fee (INR 50/- per subject)

• Click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process. An acknowledgement receipt will also be received on the candidate’s email address. Keep that safe for future reference.

Maharashtra HSC Revaluation 2026: Fee Structure

Students need to pay a subject-wise fee while applying for rechecking or obtaining answer sheet copies. The fee details mentioned below are as per last year’s charges. It may be revised for the current year:

• Applications must be submitted within the specified deadline; late submissions will not be accepted.

• All subjects for revaluation should be selected in a single application.

• The application fee must be paid online via Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking.

• Requests with incomplete details or unpaid fees will be rejected.

• Marks may increase, decrease, or remain unchanged after revaluation.

• The revised marks will be treated as final and binding.

• Students receiving grace marks may lose them after re-evaluation if their marks change.

• The fee is non-refundable if there is no change in marks; however, it may be refunded if marks are altered.

Maharashtra HSC Revaluation/Rechecking Results 2026

The HSC results of the rechecking/revaluation process are expected to be released in June 2026. Students can check their updated marks online using their login credentials. If any changes are made, a revised marksheet will be issued by MSBSHSE.
