The Bihar Board examination structure, as reflected in the BSEB model papers, introduces choices for students by approximately doubling the total number of questions in every subject. This increase allows students to practice the rule that they are only required to answer about 50% of the total questions provided across all sections, including objective questions (MCQs), short answer questions, and long answer questions. For instance, a student might be asked to answer 50 out of 100 MCQs.
For example of the BSEB model papers pattern for Class 10 Mathematics paper students may encounter 138 questions in total, requiring them to answer 50 out of 100 objectives, 15 out of 30 short answers, and 4 out of 8 long answers.
