Initially, the BSEB had prohibited students from wearing shoes and socks inside the examination hall. However, due to prevailing weather conditions currently, the BSEB board has made an exception. Following are the details:
The BSEB board has reviewed the weather conditions and released a notification that the students appearing for the Bihar board exams will be prohibited from entering the exam hall wearing shoes and socks from February 6 to 15, 2025.
Students appearing for the BSEB Intermediate annual exams 2025 from February 1 to February 5 will be allowed to wear shoes and socks inside the exam hall.
After February 5, 2025, the board will review the weather conditions and decide whether to extend or revoke this relaxation.
If no further extension is announced, students must follow the original guideline and appear in the exam without shoes and socks.
To ensure the smooth conduct of the board examination, the Bihar School Examination Board has established a control room that will remain operational continuously in three shifts from 6 AM on January 31, 2025, to 6 PM on February 15, 2025. Mentioned below are the details:

To prevent last-minute chaos and ensure discipline at the examination centres, the board has issued strict entry and gate closure timings:
Candidates must arrive at the examination centre one hour before the scheduled exam time.
The main gate will be closed 30 minutes before the exam begins, and no late entry will be permitted under any circumstances.
Latecomers will not be allowed inside the exam hall, and the responsibility for missing the exam due to tardiness will rest solely on the candidate.
All candidates must strictly adhere to these timings to ensure smooth operations at the examination centres.
