The Assam Valley School (AVS) was established in 1995. It is affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and managed by The Williamson Magor Education Trust. “AVS upholds the timeless values of integrity, resilience, pursuit of excellence, and respect that characterise a citizen of the 21st century. The School continues to instil in each student the skills of collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and communication to ensure they become who they are destined to be tomorrow,” says the school’s website. The school is currently being led by headmaster Amit Jugran.

The Assam Valley School, student of class 12, Angie Nongthombam, recently published her book titled, ‘First’ which is a story based on love and reality. The budding author’s book was published by BlueRose Publishers Pvt. Ltd., Noida. Staff and management congratulated Angie on her achievement.
