Rukmini Devi Public School Organises Workshop On 'Effective Teaching Strategies'

Rukmini Devi Public School in Pitampura recently hosted a teachers' workshop with the outstanding support of teachers from various schools under the title ‘Effective Teaching Strategies beyond Pen and Textbooks’ with Rajeevan Karal as the resource person. The school believes that educators serve as the main catalysts for learning. They are now assisting students in "constructing" their own learning rather than merely ‘instructing’ them. The workshop covered the same topics of discussion.

Rukmini Devi Public School recently organised a trip to Aeroplanet, for the class 4 students, where they received practical instruction and learned about the various parts of an aeroplane. Students were made aware of emergency evacuation procedures and search and rescue operations. Throughout an interesting and highly instructional session, they learned about a number of survival techniques. The students genuinely enjoyed and engaged in each and every activity.
