Doon International School, Dehradun participated in the Youth Policy Dialogue hosted at Shri Ram Centennial School, Dehradun from September 23 to September 24, 2022. Three key topics—the dynamics of the achievement gap between public and private schools, the Indian mental health crisis, and the integration of technology in the educational system—were the focus of the discussion. Varenya Dhira Garg of Class 11 participated in the Integration of Technology in the Education System Committee and won the competition with a commanding advantage of 3.7 points over the runner-up. She also earned a spot in the national competition, which will take place on December 22 in Delhi.

Doon International School, Dehradun: Other Achievements

Doon International School Riverside Campus organised an inter-house volleyball tournament from September 7 to September 10, 2022. In the league cum knockout competition, enthusiastic players from each of the four houses—Mandela, Gandhi, Churchill, and Lincoln—participated and performed admirably. Lincoln House emerged victorious by defeating Churchill House in three straight sets (21-19, 21-18, and 21-15). The school's principal, Dilip George, commended all of the House Mentors and participants on their accomplishments.
