Delhi Public School (DPS), Indirapuram, students participated in the ‘Namaste Thailand Quiz’ organised by The Royal Thai Embassy at India Islamic Cultural Centre Auditorium, New Delhi, on 7 October 2022. The quiz included a wide range of topics related to Thailand, including its history, art, culture, heritage, cuisines, and languages, as well as its diplomatic ties with India over the last seventy years. Ritwij Jha and Arish Isa, students of class 12, bagged the first prize , along with a cash prize of Rs 30,000.

Delhi Public School (DPS), Indirapuram, Class 12 student of 2021-2022 batch, Adarsh Agarwal topped the first ever Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam. Adarsh secured first position in the nationwide exam organised by National Testing Agency (NTA). His overall exam score was 99.10%, and he received 100% on each of the two CUET papers.

Thai Ambassador, Pattarat Hongpong, presented the awards to the winners at the ‘Namaste Thailand Quiz’ event. A total of 300 teams from different areas of the Delhi NCR participated in the event, with roughly 54 schools registering their attendance. Students were primarily tested about Thailand's culture, including questions from various genres.

“Ritwij and Arish participated enthusiastically, answered every question with patience and confidence, and delivered consistent results. Also, receiving the prize from the ambassador herself motivated them to perform well in life and reach great heights. It was indeed a valuable exposure for our students to be a part of this event that helped them learn the foreign culture,” remarked Sangeeta Hajela, Principal, DPS Indirapuram.
