    Amity International School students Arnit Gupta and Reyansh Kamboj won first and fifth place respectively in the Under-9 division of the inaugural Rapid Chess Tournament 2022, which was held on October 1, 2022, in Saket, New Delhi. More than 35 players from Delhi-NCR entered and played under this category. Both the boys performed so brilliantly that they were awarded the ‘Best School Trophy’. The tournament was conducted by Eminent Chess Academy. They were trained by Mr. Sumit Mahesh Chand Sharma.

    About Amity International School, Vasundhara Sector-6

    Amity International School, Vasundhra Sec-6, was established by Ashok K. Chauhan. It is the sixth school in the Amity Group of Schools network of the nonprofit RBEF, under the direction of Amita Chauhan. Amity International School is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). “The school aims to cultivate in its pupils a scientific mindset and a global perspective, nurture entrepreneurial and life skills, and support ethical leadership and humanitarian efforts. The goal and aim of the school is to develop young people into responsible, content adults,” according to the school's website. The school is currently being led by Sunila Athley.

    Class 2 students at Amity International School, Vasundhara Sector 6, recently participated in an Intra-Class Hindi Activity called "Kissa Kahaniyon ka." Students told thrilling tales about Akbar and Birbal that have been passed down through the generations and continue to captivate both children and adults. Anaya Rajput took first position, with Anika Goel and Samaira Badoni finishing second and third, respectively. Reyansh Srivastava won the judge's admiration award, and Aduyit Gupta was given a consolation prize.
