PSEB Class 10 Science Exam Pattern 2026

PSEB Class 10 Science paper (Code: 05/B) of 2026 is an aptly designed test that does not concentrate on one side of theoretical knowledge and the other on practical use. The paper is rated on 80 marks in 3 hours and it is moderate in difficulty.

• Part-A (MCQs): This part includes 16 one-mark questions that are based on the main clarity of concepts. The questions are both to name the non-biodegradable products such as plastic and to comprehend the power of the human eye in its accommodation.
• Part-B (Short Answer): This part involves testing 14 out of a variety of two-mark questions, which assesses the skills of students to give succinct scientific explanations and draw labeled diagrams, including the human eye.
• Part-C & D (Analytical and Long Answer): The sections assess more in-depth knowledge with three and five mark questions. These include complicated illustrations (e.g. digestive system) and applied logic, e.g. why planets do not twinkle.
