The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala, is conducting the Plus Two SAY (Save A Year) and Improvement examinations from June 29 to July 3, 2026. The detailed Kerala Plus Two timetable has been released on the DHSE Kerala website. Students who fail in one or more subjects or wish to improve their marks can apply for the SAY/Improvement examinations.

The Kerala Board has commenced the registration process for the Kerala Plus Two SAY (Save A Year) and improvement exams 2026 from June 1 to 3, 2026. The Kerala +2 SAY exam hall ticket 2026 was released on June 26, 2026. Students who completed the registration process can collect their hall tickets from their respective schools.

The Kerala +2 supplementary exams are split into two daily sessions:
Forenoon (FN) Session: 9:30 AM to 12:15 PM (including 15 minutes of cool-off time).
Afternoon (AN) Session: 2:00 PM to 4:45 PM (including 15 minutes of cool-off time).
SAY (Save A Year) Candidates: Students who appeared for the March 2026 public exam but failed to secure the minimum D+ grade (30% aggregate) in one or more subjects can write the exam to qualify for higher studies this year.
Improvement Candidates: Students who passed all subjects but want to improve their score in one specific subject can register for the improvement exam.
DHSE published the official application notification on their portals. Students must submit their registration form and the required exam fee through their respective schools.

To pass the DHSE Kerala Plus One exam , you need to score a minimum of 30% in each subject and an overall aggregate of 30%.
Yes, you can sit for the Kerala DHSE exam if your attendance percentage is more than 75%. As per the Kerala board , students need to have at least 75% attendance in each subject to be eligible to sit for the exam.
