The Directorate of Government Examinations released the Tamil Nadu Eighth Standard Public Examination (Private Study) time table on June 25, 2025. To apply for the TN Board 8th standard public examination, candidates who have completed 12 years of age as on August 1, 2025, can register online. Students can visit the service centres mentioned on the official website at dge.tn.gov.in by paying the examination fees. Candidates can apply from July 10 to 17, 2025. Those who failed to apply can also register on July 18 and 19, 2025, by paying an additional Tatkal application fee of INR 500/- along with the exam fee.
