The School Education and Sports Department has started Class 11th admission for all seats in FYJC colleges. This year, the Maharashtra Class 11 admission is being held for a total of 20.43 lakh seats in the Maharashtra FYJC. For the academic year 2025, the maximum number of available seats for the Maharashtra FYJC (First Year Junior College) is 8,52,206 for the Science stream. The Maharashtra FYJC seat intake for commerce is 5,40,312, whereas the total number of available vacancies for the Maharashtra FYJC arts stream is 6,50,682.
FYJC Admission Last Date
Students can register for round 1 from May 26 to June 5, 2025, by filling out the Maharashtra 11th admission form. Students who have passed Class 10 exams from a recognised board are eligible to apply for the Maharashtra 11th seat intake through the FYJC admission portal. After applications are over, the department allocates Maharashtra Class 11 seats in junior college based on merit in the previous qualifying exam and preferences filled during registration.
