The KVS Lottery results for the 2026-27 session are scheduled to be released this week. The online application process for Class 1 and Balvatika concluded on April 2, 2026. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is now preparing the computerised lottery lists. The KVS Lottery/Selection List 2026 for admissions has been released for Balvatika (Classes 1, 2, and 3) list scheduled on April 8, 2026. Now, the KVS Class 1 list will be declared on April 9, 2026. These are the first provisional selection lists based on the lottery system.

Vidyalaya you applied to (e.g., "PM SHRI KV Imphal" or "KV Ranchi").
Look under the "Announcements" or "Admission" section for the PDF merit list.
When students view the status of KVS Lottery Result 2026 for Class 1 & Balvatika, they may see terms like:
Selected: This means the child is in the main provisional list. They must report to the school for document verification.
Waiting List (WL): The child is in the queue. If "Selected" candidates don't take admission, seats will be offered to those in the WL in order.
Post-Lottery Number: This indicates their child's final position after the lottery shuffle.
If the child's name appears on the list, keep these ready for physical verification:
Birth certificate: Issued by a competent authority.
Passport size photo: Of the child.
Residence proof: Electricity bill, Aadhar card, or Rent Agreement.
