The third list for KVS Lottery results for the 2026-27 session has been released on April 21, 2026, for Class 1. Parents can visit their allotted KV Schools' website to check the selection lists. The online application process for Class 1 and Balvatika concluded on April 2, 2026. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has computerised the lottery lists. The 1st provisional KVS Lottery/Selection list 2026 for admissions was released for Balvatika on April 8, 2026. These are the first provisional selection lists based on the lottery system.

The second and third lists for the KVS lottery results 2026 have been released on April 16, 2026, and April 21, 2026, respectively. Students and parents can check the results on the official website, kvsangathan.nic.in. Students can check if their child has been selected through three official methods:
KVS Admission Portal:
Visit admission.kvs.gov.in.
Click on "Check Application Status" or the "Lottery Result" tab.

Log in using your Login Code, Date of Birth, and Mobile Number.
Individual School Website:
Search for the specific Kendriya
Vidyalaya you applied to (e.g., "PM SHRI KV Imphal" or "KV Ranchi").
Look under the "Announcements" or "Admission" section for the PDF merit list.
Documents Required for KVS Lottery Admission 2026
If the child's name appears on the list, keep these ready for physical verification:
Birth certificate: Issued by a competent authority.
Passport-size photo: Of the child.
Residence proof: Electricity bill, Aadhar card, or Rent Agreement.
Service certificate: (For Defence/Central/State Govt employees) clearly mentioning the number of transfers in the last 7 years.
Caste certificate: If applicable (SC/ST/OBC-NCL).
EWS/BPL certificate: If applying under the RTE quota.
