Kerala offers around 4.74 lakh Plus One seats for the 2026 admission cycle through the Higher Secondary Centralised Admission Process (HSCAP). These include both regular higher secondary and vocational higher secondary seats. The Kerala government has increased Kerala plus one seat in several districts to address seat shortages following the SSLC results. This year, government schools have received a 30% increase in seats, while aided schools have been allotted a 20% increase. The move aims to ensure that more students secure admission to higher secondary courses across the state. Students can apply for Kerala plus one admission through the official HSCAP portal, hscap.kerala.gov.in.
