Rajasthan RBSE Class 12 Maths Syllabus 2026-27: Download PDF, Chapter-wise Topics & Weightage
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) Class 12 maths syllabus is divided into 6 units comprising 13 chapters. The RBSE 12th theory maths paper carries 80 marks, while 20 marks are allotted for the practical part. The Rajasthan Board Class 11 exam for maths is held for a duration of 3 hours 15 minutes. Among all the chapters, calculus is the high-weightage unit, carrying nearly 45% of the total theory marks. The Rajasthan Board follows the NCERT maths textbook for Class 12 (Part I and Part II) for this syllabus. Make sure to focus closely on the back exercises and examples, as the board questions follow the updated NCERT layout.

RBSE Class 12 Maths Syllabus Analysis 2026-27
Calculus (35 marks) is the most important unit, accounting for 43.75% of the theory paper. Students can devote maximum time to the preparation of topics such as continuity and differentiability, applications of derivatives, integration, applications of integrals, and differential equations.
Vectors and Three-Dimensional Geometry (14 marks) is the second-highest scoring unit, contributing 17.5% of the paper. Strong understanding and regular practice of the questions can help to get these marks.
Algebra (10 marks) contributes 12.5% of the total marks. Matrices and determinants are generally formula-based and score well with sufficient practice.
Relations and Functions (8 marks) and Probability (8 marks) each carry 10% of the theory paper. These units are relatively smaller but remain an important part to score
Linear Programming (5 marks) has the lowest weightage at 6.25%. Despite its smaller contribution, the questions are direct and should not be skipped.
