The Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) introduced the AP inter-grading system back in 2018. This move was taken due to the increasing unhealthy competition and a rise in the number of suicides at intermediate colleges. The Andhra Pradesh Board decided to assign grades in order to reduce the stress caused by the marks.

After a couple of years in 2020, the board decided to discontinue the AP inter-grading system and reintroduced the old system of assigning marks in place of grades.
As per various reports, the then Board abolished the AP grade point system. This was done because students faced problems while appearing for various competitive examinations across India.
For the 2025 board examination, the regular marking system will continue. In this article, we have mentioned details of the old Andhra Pradesh inter-grading system, and subject-wise passing marks required to clear the board exams.
In the following table, students can go through the details of the Andhra Board grading system which was in force earlier. Now, the grading system has been dropped. In the words of the Board Secretary, ‘’We have received many requests from parents and students to reintroduce marks system in place of grade points. Hello,
To determine your eligibility under Stream 1, you would need to know your actual JEE Main score (not percentile), as the combined score calculation requires it. Without this, it's challenging to compute your exact SASTRA Rank for Stream 1.
For Stream 2, with a 98.1% in your Class 12 exams, your normalized score would depend on the highest score in your board. If we assume the highest is 1000, your normalized score remains 98.1%. Admission under Stream 2 is based on the merit list derived from these normalized scores.
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well. JEE mains score cannot be used to seek admission at Anna University Chennai. Admissions to Bachelor of Engineering course is carried out through a counseling procedure that the college conducts. The basic eligibility for the course is that students are required to graduate 10+2 from a recognized board / university with a minimum of 55% marks and not less than 50% marks in each physics, chemistry and mathematics. Students are also required to score a considerable score in TNEA. the fees lies between Rs. 15,000 to Rs.33,000 depending on the courses.
Thank you.
Hello
Result of ap intermediate was expected to be declare on 22nd June 2022 at 12;30
Dear aspirant,
It is hard to predict if you'll get CSE or not as it heavily depends on the students applying and what their preferences are. Looking at the previous year trends we can say that you'll need 975+ to get CSE but you have a really good percentile in JEE which accounts for 25 percent, so all I can say is that you have a really good chance of getting into SASTRA but CSE might be slightly difficult. If you are truly passionate about CSE, it is better to keep other options open.
