The Government Vidyaniketan is located in Pusegaon, Dist. Satara, Dhule, Aurangabad, Amravati, and Kelapur, District Yavatmal. When filling out the online application form, candidates must select 'Yes' for the option "Do you want admission in Govt. Vidyyaniketan?" Candidates who wish to appear for the entrance exam must meet the following criteria:

• They should be studying in class 5th

• Their school should be in a rural area

• They should be boys (as girls are not admitted to this Vidyaniketan)

• They should be studying in Marathi or Semi Marathi medium.

Eligibility Criteria For Vidyyaniketan Exam- Tribal Students

During the online application process, candidates are required to indicate their preference for admission to Govt. Vidyyaniketan by selecting 'Yes' for the corresponding option.

Candidates who wish to appear for the examination must fulfil the following criteria:

• They should be currently studying in the 5th grade.

• Only boys are eligible for admission to this Vidyaniketan. (Girls are not accepted.)

• They must belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.

• They should reside in a tribal area as determined by the government.

• The medium of instruction should be either Marathi or Semi Marathi.
