IISER BS And MS Programme

The IISERs are autonomous institutions under the ministry of education. There are seven campuses – Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram and Tirupati. The IISERs were set up to integrate and promote interdisciplinary science education and research. They offer courses on BS and BS-MS five-year dual degree programmes with varied fields of specialization.

IISER Eligibility Criteria

  • For BS and BS-MS dual degree programmes, general and OBC candidates need to have passed Class 12 with at least 60% marks. For SC, ST, PWD candidates, it is 55%.
  • Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Channel: Candidates having a valid KVPY fellowship are eligible to apply for admissions.
  • Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Advanced) Channel: Candidates who have secured a rank less than 15000 in JEE Advanced. Reserved category students must have the requisite ranks in their respective category rank lists.
  • State and Central Boards (SCB) Channel: Students applying through this channel will have to appear in the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT).

Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) Programmes

Indian Institute of Space Technology (IIST) Courses

The Indian Institute of Space Technology (IIST) is a deemed university in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. An autonomous institution under the Department of Space, it was set up to provide manpower for the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The institute offers two BTech courses in Aerospace Engineering and Avionics and a Dual Degree (BTech – Master of Science or MTech) programme with BTech in Engineering Physics and MTech programmes in 15 specialisations.
