GSEB Class 12 Science Prelims 2025: Revised Exam Dates to Avoid JEE Main Clash
The Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GSEB) has revised the dates for the Class 12 Science Prelims examination to avoid a conflict with the JEE Main exam. The GSEB's school activity calendar for 2024-25 initially set the Prelims/Second examination for classes 9 to 12 from January 20th to 28th, 2025. However, recognizing that the NTA's JEE Main exam is scheduled from January 22nd to 31st, 2025, the GSEB Executive Committee has taken action to prevent scheduling conflicts for students.
The GSEB Class 12 science stream prelims examination has been rescheduled to take place between January 16th and 21st, 2025. The GSEB examination schedule for other classes will remain unchanged, continuing from January 20th to 28th, 2025 as originally planned.
GSEB Prelims Exams Changed Date
The GSEB Class 12 science prelims and JEE Main are crucial exams for students aspiring for higher education in science and engineering. Revised Date for GSEB HSC Final Exams
Earlier, the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) revised the examination schedule for the 2025 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) General stream due to a conflict with the Holi festival. The GSEB HSC exams for the general stream will now be held from February 27th to March 17th, 2025, instead of the previously announced dates of February 27th to March 13th, 2025.
This adjustment was made to accommodate the state government-declared public holidays for Holi, which falls on March 13th, 2025, with a subsequent holiday on March 14th. The revised schedule is available on the official GSEB website. This change only affects the GSEB HSC General stream exams; the examination schedule for the Science and other streams remains unchanged.

However, since you made sure there was no smudging of the ink, and the writing is clear, there's a chance that your response could still be acceptable. The best course of action now is to stay calm and monitor your results when they are released. If there are any issues, you might want to contact the board or your school to inquire about the situation.
In the future, it's always safest to strictly follow the instructions regarding the type of pen to use.
