The AP Post Matric Scholarship 2026-27 scheme provides financial support to eligible students studying after Class 10. The application date for the AP Post Matric Scholarship is expected to be released in August 2026. Students belonging to the SC, ST, BS, EBC(other than Kapu), Kapu, Minorities, and Differently Abled categories are eligible under this scholarship scheme. The AP Post Matric Scholarship is classified under two categories, i.e. Reimbursement of Tuition Fees (RTF) and Maintenance Fee (MTF) schemes. To apply for the AP Post Matric Scholarship scheme 2026-27, students need to fill out the Jnanabhumi Scholarship application form at the official website: jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in. The Andhra Pradesh Government is about to announce the AP Post Matric Scholarship date 2026-27. Students are advised to follow the particular dates mentioned below to know the latest updates about the scholarship scheme.

AP Post Matric Scholarship 2026-27 Eligibility Criteria
Students applying for the AP Post Matric Scholarship 2026-27 must fulfil all the eligibility criteria mentioned below:
The student must be a domicile/permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh.
Students must belong to SC, ST, Backwards Classes(BC), Economically Backward Classes(EBC), Kapu, Minority or Differently Abled category to avail this scheme.
Students who have taken admission in Government, aided or private colleges under the state universities or board are eligible under this scheme.
Day Scholar students, students in College Attached Hostels(CAH) and Department Attached Hostels(DAH) will get the scholarship benefit.
To avail the scholarship, 75% attendance is mandatory.
The total family annual income of the student should be less than or equal to Rs. 2.5 lakh, and no family member should be an income tax payer.
To be eligible for this scheme, the family should not hold more than 10.00 acres of wetland, 25.00 acres of dry land or 25.00 acres for combining both wet and dry land together.
Families with government employees or pensioners will not be eligible for the scholarship. However, all sanitary workers are eligible regardless of income or recruitment process. The Social Welfare Department will verify the status of the beneficiaries whose parents are categorised as ‘Sanitary workers’.
No family member should have a personal four-wheeler. Taxis, tractors and autos are exempted from this rule.
The family of the student should not have their own property in the urban areas. The family should not hold more than 1500 square feet of built-up area, whether house or commercial space.
Students should keep the following documents ready to fill out the AP Post Matric Scholarship 2026-27 form:
Aadhaar Card
Aadhaar-linked mobile number
Aadhaar-linked bank account number
Residential Certificate
Income Certificate
Caste Validity Certificate
Marksheet of last qualifying examination
Bonafide/admission certificate issued by the current institution
Passport size photograph
Ration Card (if applicable)
How to Apply for the AP Post Matric Scholarship 2026-27
To apply for the AP Post Matric Scholarship 2026-27, students need to follow the steps mentioned below:
Visit the official website of the Andhra Pradesh Scholarship portal at jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in.
Look for the ‘Latest Notification’ and click on ‘Scholarship’.
Download the Jnanabhumi Scholarship Application Form (JSAF) or collect ot from the respective college.
Fill out all the details and submit the signed copy of the form to the college principal.
The College Principal will verify all the details and upload the application trough the Jnanabhumi website. After successful submission of the form, the student will receive a confirmation SMS.
To access the online application form, visit the official MeeSeva portal and enter the Aadhaar number and application ID.
Verify the application details and make any necessary corrections before submitting the application form by providing biometric authentication.

The AP Post Matric Scholarship 2026-27 funds will be distributed through two different schemes, i.e. RTF and MTF. The scholarship amount will be paid to the eligible students through the Direct Benefit Transfer system.
100% reimbursement of tuition fees, special fees, other fees and exam fees will be given to the eligible students as fixed by the competent authorities.
The full amount will be credited to the bank account of the respective institution on behalf of the students.
ITI and Polytechnic students will receive Rs 10,000 and Rs 15,000 per year, respectively, for food and hostel expenses.
Rs. 20,000 will be given to the students studying in degree or above courses.
The maintenance fee will be credited directly to the bank account of the student’s mother.
In case of the demise or absence of the student's mother, the scholarship amount will be sent to the natural guardian’s bank account.
AP Post Matric Scholarship 2026-27 Renewal Process
Students who have already received the scholarship in the previous academic year can apply for renewal by following the steps mentioned below:
After visiting the official website: jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in, the College Principal will access the renewal application by entering the student’s current year admission date and the hall ticket or roll number of the previous year.
The application form will be displayed. All the required changes will be made in the form. The student will receive an SMS confirmation after successful completion of the renewal application.
Students can view their application details and complete the renewal process by providing biometric authentication at the college.
