The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has released the GSEB talent search test application form online at gseb.org and prakharata.gseb.org. It is the responsibility of the respective schools to fill out the GSEB talent search test application form from November 15 to November 30, 2025. The board will conduct the GSEB talent search aptitude test for class 9th student on January 28, 2026.

The board has decided to conduct the GSEB talent search test to bring out the talent of Class 9th students. Students who will pass the examination will be awarded and their names will appear on a merit list. It is important to fill out all the details such as their bank account name, number, bank branch, IFSC code etc., carefully in the application form, as the award amount will be deposited in the given accound. Students are advised to visit the official website and keep track of the latest updates related to the GSEB talent search test.

Schools are responsible for registering their class 9th students for GSEB talent search test 2026. To fill out the Gujarat board talent search test 2026 application form, schools will have to use the same Index Number and Password that the students have used to fill out the class 10th application forms. (The Index number of a secondary school can range from 50.0001 to 86.9999). Read further to learn more about it.
The GSEB talent search test application form is available on the official website at gseb.org and prakharata.gseb.org from November 15 to November 30, 2025.
Login by entering the Login ID (index number) and password and captcha.
After that, the student registration form will open. On the right side, the school index number will be displayed and on left side, the school name and number will be visible.
Note: Schools can reset the password by clicking on the school registration and entering the school’s registered mobile number.
While filling out the form, schools must select the examination center closest to the school. (Each school can select only one exam center for all the students).
Once the center is selected, then it will automatically be selected for all the remaining students’ forms.
Once the registration is done and exam center is selected by the school. They must fill out the student registration form and provide general information, such as students’ name, their parents/guardians name, surname, medium in which he/she is studying in the school, their caste, gender and students’ GR number (example 000063).
After that, they must fill the students’ bank account details section. Such as
a) Bank name: Select bank name from the drop down list or select “Other Bank Name” in case the name is not in the list.
b) Name as per the bank account (passbook)
c) Bank branch name
d) IFSC code as mentioned in the passbook
e) Account number
In case of differently abled students, they must click “Yes” in the Differenyly Abled section.
After filling in all the details, click on the “Save” button and proceed.
Next, the GSEB talent search application fee must be paid by the students.
Note: School must show and verify all the details mentioned in the GSEB talent search test application form to the students/guardian.
Students can pay the GSEB talent search test fee both online and offline.
For online payment: Online fee payment can be made through credit card and net banking etc.
a) Select “Credit Card/ Internet Banking” option.
b) Enter the required details (in case of credit card option, enter card number, name of the card holder etc).
c)Click on “Pay Now” option.
d) After making payment, ensure the transaction process is completed.
e) Take a print out of the transaction for future reference.
For offline payment: Students will have to generate challan.
a) Click on the “SBI Branch Payment”.
b) Enter the school name, mobile number and email details and click on “Pay Now”.
c) A challan (cash memo) slip will b generated for offline payment.
d) The slip can be filled from any SBI branch.
e) Students must pay the fee within 7 days after generating the challan.

Note: Government schools are exempt from paying the GSEB talent search test fee.
