Who can Fill Out the RTE Admission Form 2026-27?

Parents must check for eligibility norms before applying for admissions under the RTE Rajasthan. Children from weaker sections and disadvantaged groups can apply. Mentioned below are the details:

1. Children from weaker sections with an annual family income of INR 2.5 lakhs or less.

2. Children from disadvantaged groups include SC/ST children, orphans, children affected by HIV or cancer or with parents/guardians facing these illnesses, children of war widows, children with disabilities under the Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995, BC/SBC children with parental income up to INR 2.5 lakh, and those whose parent or guardian is listed on the State or Central BPL list.

3. The child must live within the catchment area of the chosen private school. In urban regions, this catchment area is determined by the Municipal Corporation or Municipal Council, while in rural regions, it is defined by the respective Gram Panchayat.

Note: Priority is always given to children living in the same ward/village as the school. Only if adequate applications are not available from that area will children from other parts of the same municipality or Gram Panchayat be considered. Children residing outside these boundaries are not eligible for RTE Rajasthan admission.

How to Fill the RTE Rajasthan Admission Form 2026-27 Online?

The RTE form 2026 Rajasthan can be downloaded and filled out in online mode only. Children are selected through a computerised random lottery that includes all verified and eligible online applications. After verification, the portal releases the final list of eligible entries that will be considered in the draw. Mentioned below are the steps to apply:

• Visit the official RTE Rajasthan portal: rajpsp.nic.in.

• Select the option for ‘New Application’ and fill in the child’s general details.

• Choose the district, block, Gram Panchayat, village, and the class for which admission is sought.

• From the list of schools in your catchment area, select up to 5 schools.

• Upload all required certificates, such as caste, residence, BPL, disability, and income documents.

• Save the information and verify all entries carefully.

• Once satisfied, click on Final Lock to submit the form. After locking, no changes can be made.
