Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) conducted the RBSE 12th physics exam on February 16, 2026. The exam ended at 11:45 am. Which parts to cover in Class 12 Physics Syllabus
High Scoring Chapters: Ray Optics (7 Marks) is the most important chapter. Mastering the lens formula, mirror formula, and optical instruments is crucial.
Modern Physics Strength: Chapters 11 through 14 (Dual Nature, Atoms, Nuclei, and Semiconductors) collectively account for 17 marks. This is the easiest section to score in.
Objective Focus: There are 28 questions (MCQs + Fill-ups) that are only worth 0.5 marks each. While they seem easy, they require knowledge of definitions and small formulas.
The "Internal Choice" Rule: Internal choices (OR questions) are only provided in Section C and Section D. Students must be prepared for all topics in the shorter question sections.

For the Rajasthan Class 12 Physics theory paper (which is out of 56 marks):
Minimum RBSE passing marks: Students need to score at least 18.5 marks (33%) in the theory paper specifically.
Overall requirement: They must pass both the theory (56) and practical (30) exams separately to clear the subject.
