The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan Board announced the Kerala SSLC SAY (Save a Year) exam dates 2025 on May 13, 2025. The SAY supplementary exam for regular students is scheduled to be held from May 28 to June 5, 2025. Students can choose a maximum of 3 subjects for the SAY exam. The Kerala Class 10th SAY exam dates PDF was available at sslcexam.kerala.gov.in. Students could submit the Kerala SSLC SAY applications from May 15 to May 17, 2025. The Kerala Pareeksha Bhawan Board conducts SAY exams (Save a Year) annually, which provides the opportunity to students for:
Clearing their failed subjects (Kerala SSLC Supplementary Exams).
Improve their scores in subjects they have already passed (Improvement Exam).
Students who have passed all subjects in the SSLC 2025 exam but wish to improve their marks in one or a maximum of three subjects are eligible to appear for the Kerala improvement exam. Interested candidates should submit a declaration form titled ‘Betterment of Result’ to the Head of School. Further details include:
Only one chance is allowed for improving scores.
The better of the two marks (original and improvement) will be considered for the final certificate.
The subjects selected for improvement must be mentioned during the application.
A candidate is allowed to appear for the betterment of the results just once and within three years of the last exam.
Students who have failed in one or a maximum of three subjects in the Kerala SSLC 2025 exams can appear for the supplementary exams. Important points to remember include:
Students must apply for the specific subjects they failed in.
Students will receive a new mark sheet incorporating the revised scores after passing.
The aim is to help students clear failed subjects and move forward without losing a year.
