Punjab Post-Matric Scholarship for SC Students

  • Students must be a citizen of India.

  • Family Income should not exceed INR 2.5 lakh per annum.

  • The post-matric scholarship will be awarded to students studying in the 11th or 12th class from the schools recognised board by the government of India.

  • Students belonging to Scheduled castes and must have passed the matriculation or higher secondary or any higher examination from a recognised university or Board of secondary education are eligible for Punjab Post-Matric scholarship.

  • Students must have a minimum mark of 75% in Higher Secondary.

  • Should not be availing any other centrally-sponsored Post-matric scholarship.

  • Students pursuing their studies through correspondence courses are also eligible.

Punjab Pre-Matric Scholarship for SC Students

  • Students should be a citizen of India and belong to Scheduled Caste.

  • His/her parent/guardian’s Family Income should not exceed INR 2.5 lakh per annum.

  • Students applying should not be availing of any other centrally-sponsored pre-matric scholarship.

  • They need to provide Aadhaar authentication for proof.

  • Should be studying in Classes 9 or 10.

  • He/she should be a regular, full-time student studying in a government school or any school recognised by the government of India or any central/state board of secondary education.

  • The scholarship will be available for only one year. If he/she wants to repeat a class, students will not get a scholarship for that class for the second year.
