Eligibility Criteria for CG Post Matric 2026-27 Scholarship

Students applying for the 2026-27 Chhattisgarh Post Matric Scholarship Scheme must be aware of the eligibility criteria required to apply. In case of an incomplete application form or unfulfilled criteria, the form will be rejected by the government.

• The candidate must be a resident of Chhattisgarh.

• They must have completed the last examination.

• Students have to provide caste and income certificates issued by a competent authority.

• The student must have an Aadhaar card linked to their bank account.

• Total annual income for parents of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students should not exceed ₹2.50 lakhs. Annual income limit for Other Backwards Classes (OBC) should not exceed ₹1.00 lakh.

CG 2026-27 Post Matric Scholarship Application Process

• Both fresh and renewal students must complete the OTR process on the National Scholarship Portal at scholarships.gov.in using their Aadhaar card details. This OTR is important for validating the 2026-27 scholarship profile.
• Visit the official website, postmatric-scholarship.cg.nic.in.
• Go to the “Student Section” at the bottom of the page and click on “Register” for fresh applicants or “Log In” for renewal applicants. Renewal applicants must enter their User ID and password on the login page.
  
  

• After that, fill out the educational qualifications and eligibility criteria details to complete the form.

• Verify the application form by using the generated NSP OTR ID and submit the application to complete the process.

• Make sure to recheck the details before submitting them.
