Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) conducts the Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination. It is commonly known as the Karnataka SSLC exam for Class 10 students. • Students who do not pass the exam in the first appearance shall finish the SSLC exam within 6 consecutive attempts including the 1st attempt. So, the students shall re-appear for the entire exam of all subjects as a fresh private candidate.

• The candidate must have completed 18 years as of April 1, 2024 if the examination is held in April and June 1, 2024 if the examination is conducted in September.
• The candidate must have passed the primary VII examination conducted by the authority of the department of public instruction or an examination equivalent to the same.
