About NBSE HSLC 2025

The Nagaland Board of School Education conducts the High School Leaving Certificate exam or HSLC examination. This is a state-level matriculation exam that is conducted for Class 10th students. More information on the Nagaland board 10th exams is given below.

More About NBSE HSLC Exams 2025:

  • The NBSE HSLC exam routine 2025  will be released in December 2024. Students must go through the exam routine to know the exam dates and timing. 
  • NBSE HSLC admit card 2025 will be released in the first week of February 2025. Students can collect it through their respective schools.
  • Students must solve the NBSE HSLC question papers 2025 to know the difficulty level and important topics of the examination.
  • Students should complete the NBSE HSLC syllabus as soon as possible to devote maximum time to proper revision.
  • The NBSE HSLC exams 2025 will be conducted in February 2025. The exam's duration will be 3 hours per paper.
  • The NBSE HSLC result will be tentatively declared in April 2025.
  • The NBSE HSLC compartment exams 2025 will be held in June 2025, and the NBSE HSLC Compartment exam result 2025 will be declared in July 2025
  • Students will be able to collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools after the declaration of the result.

In order to be eligible to sit for the NBSE HSLC exams 2025, students must satisfy the following NBSE HSLC eligibility criteria:

  • Students must have successfully cleared their 9th standard examinations.
  • They also must have studied their 10th class in a school affiliated with NBSE.
  • Students must have completed the application procedure and received the admit card for the NBSE HSLC 2025.
  • The NBSE HSLC 2025 application process can be completed in offline mode by the candidates through their respective schools.
  • Only students who are studying in a school affiliated to the Nagaland Board of School Education or NBSE will be able to fill the NBSE form.

The NBSE HSLC 2025 exam pattern comprises 7 subjects in total which are:

  • Social science
  • Science
  • Mathematics
  • English 
  • Second language (optional) - Tenyidie, Ao, Sumi, Lotha, Hindi, Bengali and alternative English
  • Sixth subject - Music, Home Science, FIT, Environmental Education and BK & Accountancy 
  • Vocational paper - IT and TT

The paper for all the subjects except vocational will be of 3 hours duration, whereas the duration for the vocational papers will be 2 hours. A candidate generally needs 40% or above in order to obtain a pass status in the result for the specific exam.
