Maharashtra SSC Board 2026 - Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Preparation, Hall Ticket, Result

Before filling out the application for the Maharashtra SSC board exams, students should fulfil the eligibility criteria:

• Students must have passed Class 9th exams and have to maintain an attendance of at least 75% to appear for the Maharashtra SSC exams 2026.
• In case of short attendance, due to medical emergencies or other unavoidable situations, students must contact to Divisional Chairman to get approval for appearing in the Maharashtra SSC 2026 exams.
• The Chairman has the authority to approve a maximum shortage of attendance up to 15%. 

Students can submit the Maharashtra SSC 2026 application forms in both online and offline modes.

• The online registration for Class 10 students usually starts in the last week of October. 
• Students need a scanned copy of a passport-size photograph while filling out the online Maharashtra SSC application form. Photographs clicked from mobile phones are also applicable.
• They are also supposed to submit the original application form along with the fee, a scanned copy of the certificate or affidavit, and a copy of the Aadhar Card to the designated contact centre/ junior college/ school.
• In the online method, students must access the application link on the official Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) website and pay the required exam fees online.
• In the offline method, candidates can fill out the application form through their respective schools and pay the exam fee via a bank challan. 

The Maharashtra SSC 2026 exam pattern comprises 5 compulsory subjects:

• English
• Hindi
• Social Science
• Mathematics
• Science

• Full-fledged preparation: The candidates should revise the lessons taught in class every day with strict regularity. Following this practice will help the candidate to thoroughly understand and remember concepts from the various chapters in the long run. Multiple revisions are always recommended for scoring well in the exam.
• Practice: The candidates must ensure that sufficient practice and re-reading is carried out in order to comprehensively understand and remember the subject matter. Making notes is a beneficial practice methodology and speeds up the learning process. Candidates should also practice through mock question papers to pinpoint areas of study which need further attention.
• Clarity: The candidates must devote a proper amount of time to every subject and ensure that the concepts of all chapters are clear. Book recommendations can be sought out from teachers to further ensure clarity of the subject matter.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will release the Maharashtra SSC Board admit card in January 2026 in online mode. Regular students can collect their admit cards from their respective schools. School authorities can download the same using their school login credentials and distribute the same to the students.

How to Download the Maharashtra SSC Admit Card 2026?

1. Visit the official website, mahahsscboard.in.
2. Click on ‘SSC’  and it will lead to a new page.
3. Further, the school heads need to enter the candidate's username and password.
4. Now, click on the 'submit' button, and the school login dashboard window will be displayed on the screen.
5. Click on Maharashtra SSC hall ticket 2026 and the college list.
6. Now, click on ‘Generate Admission Card (HTML)’ and it will lead to a new page.
7. Enter the seat number range by entering ‘first seat number’ and ‘last seat number’.
8. Click on the ‘Print’ button.
9. The Maharashtra SSC 2026 admit card will appear on the screen.

The Maharashtra board does not publish the official MSBSHSE SSC answer key. However, various coaching institutes and subject experts publish the Maha SSC answer key for each subject immediately after the commencement of the respective exam. Students can check out the unofficial answer key for the Maha SSC exam to analyse their performance and count the expected scores.

The Maharashtra board's SSC result 2026 will be declared in May 2026. Students can check the Maharashtra 10th result 2026 through the official website, mahresult.nic.in. Last year, the result was announced on May 13, 2025. 

Steps to Check Maharashtra SSC Result 2026:

1. Visit the official website, mahresult.nic.in
2. Click on the link "SSC Exam Result 2026" and enter the roll number.
3. Students can check their subject-wise marks in the Maharashtra Board SSC 2026 exam result.
4. Take a screenshot and save the provisional result for future use.
5. The original mark sheet will be available offline. Students will be able to collect it from their respective schools.

Students who are unable to pass in one or two subjects will be able to appear for the SSC supplementary exams in July 2026. The result for the same will be announced in August 2026.
