CBSE Pre-boards are mock board exams held in the school. They mimic the CBSE 10th exam pattern, time constraints, and marking expectations of the final CBSE exams, helping students become familiar with the actual testing environment.

These exams help evaluate where the candidate stands academically, highlighting strong and weak sections that need extra focus or revision. Teachers also provide feedback based on their pre-board performance helps candidate to plan their studies. In certain schools, pre-board marks may be considered during admissions, for example, when transitioning to Class 11, especially if final board results are delayed.
