1 Million is equal to 1/10 crore or 0.1 crore.
Million is one of the units widely used in the international place value system. It can also be written as 1,000,000 which is equal to 10 lakh in the Indian place value system.
Crore is also a unit in the Indian place value system. It can also be written as 100,00,000 which is also equal to 100 lakh. In the international system, it is equal to ten million.
As we have already seen in the above paragraph that million is an international unit whereas crore is an Indian unit. Now to learn the relationship between millions and crores, let's relate million and crores to lakhs. One million is equal to 10 lakh, or 1 lakh is equal to 1/10 million whereas one crore is equal to 100 lakh or 1 lakh is equal to 1/100 crore.
From the above relation, we can conclude that 1/10 million is equal to 1/100 crore. Hence, 1 Million is equal to 1/10 crore or 0.1 crore.
