NIOS Syllabus 2019 - National Institute of Open Schooling has released the NIOS 2019 syllabus for class 10th and 12th students. NIOS Class 10th & 12th syllabus 2019 comprises important topics for all the subjects covered in the board examinations. Students who will be appearing for board exams must download the NIOS syllabus 2019 for class 10 and 12 from the official website nios.ac.in. NIOS 10th syllabus 2019 is divided into group A and Group B. Group A consists of language subjects while group B has subjects ranging from mathematics to commerce and humanities. Candidates have to select subjects from both the group. NIOS 12th syllabus is divided into five groups A, B, C, D and E. Candidates have to choose subjects among all the five groups.
NIOS 10th and NIOS class 12 exams will be conducted in October 2019 for Block 2 exams. Students can find all the information related to NIOS syllabus 2019 for class 10 and 12 in this article. NIOS syllabus 2019 of class 10 is divided into two groups, Group A and Group B. Students can select five subjects, having the option of selecting one or two subjects from languages from Group A and the remaining subjects from Group B. Students can take two additional subjects from either of the two groups. Subjects in Group A are the language subjects while Group B consists of core subjects.

NIOS Subjects for class 12 is divided into six groups namely Group A, B, C, D, E and F. Group A contains languages subjects while groups B, C, D, E and F have subjects from science to humanities among others. Students can select five subjects, one or two from languages from Group A and the remaining subjects from Group B, C, D, E and F. However, have certain restrictions from choosing subjects like only one subject each from C, D, E and F can be taken.

NIOS offers additional subjects to students of class 10 and 12 in their course of study other than the mandatory 5 subjects at an additional cost of Rs. 720 per subject. Students of NIOS class 10 and 12 can take a maximum of two additional subjects in their course of study.

Along with NIOS Syllabus 2019, students have to clearly understand the scheme and pattern of examination of NIOS Class 10 and 12. Duration for both the exam of NIOS class 10 and 12 is 3 hours and is held from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM in the evening hours. Students must attain a minimum qualifying marks in the board exams to qualify the same. The marks obtained by the students will be revealed in NIOS Result 2019
Students have to get minimum of 33% marks including theory and practical exam (wherever applicable). Marks of internal assessment are listed separately in mark sheet.
Students have to pass in 5 subjects in order to get the pass certificate. Students can however select maximum of two subjects from language.

The result for NIOS Block I exam will be declared by the first week of June 2019 in the online mode. Candidates will be able to check the result by entering their 12 digit enrolment number in the login window.
