A multiplication table is known as the "Table of 85" and produces the sum of a series of natural integers plus the number 85. For instance, multiplying 85 by two results in 170, multiplying 85 by three results in 255, and so forth. You may find the 85 times table from 1 to 20 on this page.
The multiplication table for the multiples of the initial integer is called the "table of 85." It also takes into account the outcome of multiplying 85 by a series of natural integers. The repeated addition of 85 when multiplied by any other integer is expressed by the Table of 85. When comparing it to other numbers, you might wonder why you should memorise its table and what makes it unique. It is a unique number, indeed.
You can create a table of 85 by constantly adding 85 to itself. Depending on the quantity 85 is multiplied by, the recurrence varies. Check out the table below.
85 × 1 = 85 85 |
85 × 2 = 170 85 + 85 = 170 |
85 × 3 = 255 85 + 85 + 85 = 255 |
85 × 4 = 340 85 + 85 + 85 + 85 = 340 |
85 × 5 = 425 85 + 85 + 85 + 85 + 85 = 425 |
85 × 6 = 510 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85 = 510 |
85 × 7 = 595 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85 = 595 |
85 × 8 = 680 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85 = 680 |
85 × 9 = 765 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85 = 765 |
85 × 10 = 850 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85+ 85 + 85 = 850 |
We can understand how to obtain table 85 from the preceding table.

In most cases, multiplication is the repetition of addition. Additionally, the addition can take longer. Multiplication will be a huge assistance to you if you want to improve your maths speed and accuracy.
For instance,
255 is equivalent to 85 multiplied by 3, therefore 85+85+85=255.
Similar to this, multiplying 5 times 85 results in 425, or 85 + 85 + 85 + 85 = 425.
Reading the table aloud as much and as frequently as you can is the first trick. The beat and associated numbers will become ingrained in your head.
It's also a good idea to adhere to the repeating addition guidelines. The benefit of this approach is greater for students who are also masters. The preceding result must be added to 85 to obtain multiples of that number.
Example 1: (85 x 3) + (85 x 5).
Solution: We have; from the table of 85.
85\times 3 = 255
85\times 5 = 425
Thus,
(85\times 3) + (85\times 5)\\
\ = 255 + 425 = 680
Example2: If the price of 1 kilogramme of apples is Rs. 85, how much would 7 kg of apples cost?
Solution: 1 kilogramme of apples cost Rs. 85.
seven kg of apples is Rs. 595.
Example 3: What do 85 times 20 equal?
Solution. The solution to 85 times 20 is 1700.
Example 4: Find the value of 100 minus 15 multiplied by 5.
Solution. 100 minus 15 equals 85.
85 multiplied by 5 equals 425.
Example 5: A customer buys two juice cans each day. How many juice cans will the consumer buy in 85 days?
Solution. The client buys 2 juice cans every day. The buyer bought a total of 2 x 85 = 170 juice cans over 85 days utilising the table of 85 as a result.
