An intelligent, wise, unselfish, and universally adored leader is an uncommon sight in the world. One such leader was Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam. He was a person who had a significant deal of popular appeal. Furthermore, his political status puts him well above the prejudices of race and religion.
Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam is the full name of APJ Abdul Kalam.
On October 15, 1931, he was born in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu.
Kalam used to hawk newspapers to help his family's finances.
He attended the Madras Institute of Technology in 1960 to pursue a degree in aeronautical engineering.
When he was younger, he dreamt of becoming a fighter pilot.

He served as India's 11th president. He passed away on July 27, 2015, at the age of 83.
Jainulabdeen and Ashiamma had APJ Abdul Kalam on October 15, 1931. His mother was a housewife, while his father owned a boat. Because his family's financial position was precarious, he started lending a hand to his family at a young age. He earned his aerospace engineering degree from St. Joseph's College in Tiruchirappalli and then further studied at Madras Institute of Technology in 1955. After graduating, he took a Chief Scientist position at the Aeronautical Development Base of the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO).
He received praise for creating India's first homegrown satellite (SLV III) rocket in his capacity as Project Director-General. His unwavering support was crucial in bringing nuclear power to India. He was named Scientific Advisor to the Indian Ministry of Defence in July 1992. serving as a national counsellor had a huge impact on the historic Pokhran II nuclear experiments. He received the Padma Bhushan Award in 1981, the Padma Vibhushan Award in 1909, and the Bharat Ratna Award in 1997 for his remarkable contribution to modernizing defence's defence technology.
He held the office of President of India from July 25, 2002, to July 25, 2007, during which time he rose to fame among Indians and attracted a great deal of interest from young Indians. As the People's President, he gained popularity. Following his resignation from office, Kalam worked at numerous universities as a lecturer, dean, and assistant. On the evening of July 27, 2015, he suffered a major heart arrest, lost consciousness, and passed away two hours later. Kalam released both his autobiography and a book titled "The Wings of fire". He has written numerous additional publications that are helpful to readers of all ages.
