Can i able to change my category for NTSE 2 from Open to OBC with proper documentation? NTSE 1 form is filled up with OPEN category but willing to change for NTSE 2, will it be possible? if yes...how do i proceed?

Sudeshna Dutta 11th Oct, 2021

Aspirant, please accept my greetings.

I hope everything in your life is going well right now.

Please accept my apologies for telling you, but I think that after the application form has been submitted, these changes will not be taken into account. Similar occurrences have occurred in the past, and many of my friends and acquaintances have also seen them. To connect with them in such situations, I recommend that you write them an email or call them on their hotline number provided on their website. There is a high likelihood that they will respond to your inquiry, and if they do not, you will be required to apply for alternative entrance tests in the future.

I hope you were successful in finding the answer to your question. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Wishing you a great day!

I have cleared ntse stage 1 and they are asking for obc ncl certificate which I need to submit in 10 days only but when I went to block office they are telling that the certificate will be available in at least 15-20 days. what should I do now?

Sudeshna Dutta 2nd Oct, 2021

Hello there, candidate.

The first thing that you should do is determine whether or not you are a member of the non creamy layer, and then you should contact the appropriate authorities to find out when you will be able to get your new OBC NCL certificate in validating your status.

If the date of your new certificate is later than the date of your NTSE stage 2 test, your new certificate will be of no use during that time period, and you will be required to submit your application under the general category only during that time period.

I hope that is of assistance!!
