The Central Board of Secondary Education released the CBSE practical date sheet 2025 on October 10, 2024. The CBSE practical exams for winter-bound schools will be held from November 5 to December 5, 2024. On the other hand, the CBSE board will conduct the practical exams for all other CBSE-affiliated schools from January 1, 2025. CBSE Dates for Uploading Marks

The CBSE practical examination marks or projects/internal assessments will be uploaded from the start date of the practical exams. Schools are required to complete the uploading of marks by the last date of the CBSE practical examinations.

(Note: The CBSE board will not consider an extension of the dates.)

Practical exams in Two/Three Sessions in a Day (Batch and Group Size)

The board assist schools in conducting practical examinations/project assessments in two or three sessions depending on the lab infrastructure available and the number of students is more than 30. The schools can create batches or groups of 30 students for each subject to process the practical exams and project assessments for better management of the exams and uploading of marks. The practicals should invariably be conducted in sessions to ensure a fair assessment of the exams. In the Fine Arts case, the CBSE practical examination/assessment shall be conducted in two sessions concerning candidates appearing in the exam.

Class 10 Practicals by Schools

  • Internal assessments for CBSE class 10 regular students will be conducted by the schools themselves depending on the subject curriculum.

  • The board will not appoint any external examiner for Class 10.

  • The schools are responsible for making all arrangements themselves like supplying practical answer books to the students.

  • The CBSE board will upload the link to the practical marks of class 10 students. The marks shall be awarded by the examiners.

Class 12 Practicals by External Examiner

  • The board will conduct the practical examinations/internal/project assessments based on the bonafide or eligibility criteria of the students mentioned in the LOC of class XII.

  • For the CBSE class 12 practical examinations 2025 or project assessment, the board will appoint an external examiner in each school.

  • The school authorities are not authorised to make any arrangements for practical exams. The examination will only be conducted by the examiner appointed by the CBSE board.

  • To ensure fair conduct of project assessments/practical examinations, the board may appoint observers in the schools.

  • The board has to ensure that the external examiners and observers are present on all days of the practical examination. This has to be as per the appointment of the external examiner by the board.

  • As per the policy for practical examinations/project assessments, there will be an external examiner as well as an internal examiner.

  • The school must appoint an internal examiner of adequate expertise in all subjects and experience in the subject matter.

  • The school principal will issue an order for the appointment of the internal examiner mentioning all the details along with duties and responsibilities.

  • The school authorities should get the laboratory ready for the practical examinations. The external examiners must visit the school one day before the examination to ensure proper and adequate availability of the equipment and materials.

It should display your name, roll number, marks obtained, and any other relevant details in a readable forma.ALSO, the screenshot clearly show it is from the official CBSE results portal.
