• It is a state-level board, and its syllabus is more focused on regional education.

• The board is recognised primarily within Assam only, and is mostly for students who wish to study in Assam.

Summary

Both the SEBA and CBSE boards are unique and serve different purposes. There is no “better” option between the boards; it depends on what the student is looking for. But if a student wishes to follow a wider recognised board and give competitive exams, then they can take admission to CBSE-affiliated schools. While the students who wish to stay in Assam only and need a state-specific curriculum then they can go for the SEBA board.
