Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) is a state-level board, described as more traditional in its approach and is suitable for students wanting to study in Assam. Whereas, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national-level board with a standardised curriculum across India. It is designed for students aiming for national entrance exams like JEE, NEET, CUET, etc. Both boards are unique and serve different purposes.     Both the SEBA and CBSE boards are unique and serve different purposes. There is no “better” option between the boards; it depends on what the student is looking for. But if a student wishes to follow a wider recognised board and give competitive exams, then they can take admission to CBSE-affiliated schools. While the students who wish to stay in Assam only and need a state-specific curriculum then they can go for the SEBA board.
