NTSE stage 1 exam is conducted as selection round for NTSE stage 2 participants. Students only need to apply once for Stage 1.

Examination of ntse for class 9th of will held on 5th of July 2019
NTSE is conducted for class 10 students of the same academic year as the examination is conducted. So, no you cannot appear for NTSE stage 1.

Candidates must have cleared both the stages as stage 1 qualified candidates wont get any scholarship if they are fail in stage 2. Also, stage 2 exam is on May 13th.
