It depends upon lots of factors.

Every year the paper is different with the different difficulty level, number of participants etc.

But, if you don't want to put much labor, just make a target of around 70–80℅, you will be on a safer side.

Cut off is going to be above 170

So there is no chance of getting qualified

It would be difficult to predict the NTSE 2019 Cutoff as this year cutoff is expected to show much change due to the change in exam pattern. Directorate of Government Examination will publish the cutoff of NTSE Tamilnadu, stage 1.

Minimum 40 marks each in MAT and SAT is must for qualifying and overall cutoff has been 117marks as per previous years trends in General category.

Hence very good chances for conversion at Stage2 NTSE in Your case.

Cut off of NTSE Rajasthan was 131, 104 and 105 for General, SC and St category students last year. This year, the cut off is expected to show a change due to the change in the exam pattern. The qualifying NTSE cut off is 40% and 32% for General/OBC
