Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the CBSE Class 12 Accountancy exam 2025 on March 26, 2025 from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The CBSE Class 12 English exam carries a total of 100 marks, of which 80 marks are allotted to the theory paper, and 20 marks are reserved for internal assessment.
During the exam, candidates must write the CBSE Class 12 Accountancy question paper (Q.P.) code, which is printed on the right-hand side of the question paper, on the title page of their answer booklet. Also, before answering each CBSE accountancy question, they must mention the corresponding serial number in the answer booklet. The CBSE accounts paper will be in Hindi and English language.
A 15-minute reading time will be provided before the commencement of the CBSE 12 accountancy examination. The CBSE 12 question paper will be distributed at 10:15 a.m., allowing students to read it until 10:30 a.m., during which no writing is allowed. The total marks allocated for the question paper are 80.
The board will not release the 12th accountancy answer key but many experts will release the answer key after the exam. Students can check their CBSE 12 accountancy answer key 2025 once the exam is over. The CBSE accountancy answer keys for different sets of question papers will be provided here. Students should verify the question paper code and set number before referring to the CBSE answer key 2025.

This CBSE 12 accountancy question paper consists of a total of 34 questions, all of which are compulsory. It is divided into two sections: Part A and Part B. While there is no overall choice in the paper, internal choices have been provided for select questions in both sections.
Part A is mandatory for all candidates, whereas Part B offers two options, out of which candidates must attempt only one. The options are:
Option I: Analysis of Financial Statements
Option II: Computerised Accounting
The multiple-choice questions include Questions 1 to 16 from Part A and Questions 27 to 30 from Part B, each carrying 1 mark. Short answer-type questions include Questions 17 to 20 from Part A and Questions 31 and 32 from Part B, with each carrying 3 marks.
Long answer-type questions are further categorised into two types:
Type I: Questions 21 and 22 from Part A and Question 33 from Part B, each carrying 4 marks.
Type II: Questions 23 to 26 from Part A and Question 34 from Part B, each carrying 6 marks.
